Rockface is an opportunity for Wainwright as a company to reflect and to promote news and events, company culture and commercial developments to customers and shareholders.
Now welcoming in it’s sixteenth issue, New Century Design have worked with Wainwright over the years to deliver a firm brand identity and voice. With new Creative Partners George and Courtney Atherton leading the project, the team worked with Wainwright’s Communications Director Tim Gibson
to deliver a refreshed and modern Rockface Newsletter. With a focus on typography, colour and layout design, the team created a design structure that was representative of Wainwright’s forward thinking culture and love for innovation and technology.
Colour was used to distinguish and punctuate the content within the newsletter. Wainwright Red: News, Wainwright Teal: People & Environment, Pastel Grey: Commerce & Growth, Submarine Yellow: Community.
Using a mixture of sans serif typeface Europa and more elaborate serif typeface Butler created a type structure that felt classic, yet modern. Content and articles are divdided and boxed out by a set of thin elegant lines and coloured circles.
